This year, College of Management and Accountancy (CMA) held its Success Ladder on October 14, at CSI Stadia, Lucao in Dagupan City with the theme, “Every Step Counts, Every Success Soars: One CMA, One Legacy of Excellence” honoring 1,165 CMA executives.
“I hope we celebrate one another without comparing our journeys. Because in the CMA Success Ladder, it is not only the highest level that matters.” said Ms. Danica Siapno, CPA, MBA, CTT, CMA Dean.
Second-year students underwent the pinning and nameplating ceremony, third-year students donned scarves and neckties, while only the top awardees among the fourth-year students attended, as the rest of the seniors are currently undergoing on-the-job training.
“You are being trained not just to get a job, but to lead companies, to build businesses, and to change the future of your families. Every step you take today brings you closer to that peak.” stated Engr. Lyndon Padama, PHINMA University of Pangasinan Chief Operating Officer.
CMA executives from Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information System, Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Financial Management, and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management, attended the event.
“Your diploma matters. So does the person you become while earning it.” Dr. Carmina Bermas, guest speaker, mentioned.
NC III Bookkeeping awardees, NC III Event Management awardees, Civil Service Exam awardees, and top performing students were recognized at the Success Ladder.
“We need more professionals who are pro-country, pro-God, pro-environment, pro-family, and pro-others. Because ultimately, success is not only about what we achieve for ourselves but also about what we can do for others.” Ms. Carmela De Perio, Student Formation Unit Manager, remarked on behalf of Mr. Adele Traspe, Center for Student Development and Leadership Director.
