𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | PHINMA UPang Urdaneta- SHS Dep't consducts active shooting drill

To equip students with readiness, PHINMA UPang College Urdaneta (UPang U)- Senior High School Department executed an active shooting drill together with Bureau of Fire Protection Urdaneta, Philippine National Police (PNP) Urdaneta, and Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (LDRRMC) Urdaneta held at UPang U Atrium, Thursday, October 15, 2026.

Students were first isolated in their respective classrooms as the active shooting drill started. Responders from PNP, BFP, and LDRRMC then proceeded to the building.

Mr. Jaycee Sumait of LDRRMC- Urdaneta Assistant for Research and Planning Section highlighted the importance of first aid during incidents like active shooting.

"Kailangan natin na kapag may mga insidenteng tulad nito, ay mayroong mga nakastand-by na mga medics na reresponde sa mga masusugatan" Mr. Sumait said.

The drill was assisted by the PNP, BFP, and Nancayasan barangay Council.
