University of Pangasinan Electrical Engineering Student Association (UPEESA), together with the Electrical Engineering (EE) community, honored the university’s newly registered electrical engineers during Making HistoREE: Testimonials & Recognition Rites 2026 at the MBA 5th floor, Audio-Visual Room today, October 13, recognizing their achievement in the September 2026 Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination (REELE).

Engr. Keno Brian C. Ramirez, MSEM, Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), encouraged current Electrical Engineering students to learn from the board passers’ experiences and draw inspiration from their achievements.

Engr. Ramirez emphasized that the celebration should go beyond recognizing past accomplishments and serve as a starting point for future success, urging the community to work together toward making the program one of the best.

Meanwhile, Engr. Lyndon G. Padama, Chief Operating Officer of PHINMA University of Pangasinan, congratulated the EE community for sustaining a 100% passing performance for seven consecutive years. He also highlighted the importance of friendships throughout the college journey and rallied the community with the expression “EE naman!” to reinforce their shared identity and commitment.

“The time for you to make history is not yesterday. It’s now or never. It’s tomorrow,” Engr. Padama said, encouraging the community to build on its achievements and continue making history.

The program featured testimonials from nine newly registered electrical engineers who shared their experiences as board examinees with current students.

The passers were Engr. Jhonel M. Latosquin, Engr. Abraham Joseph N. Mandia, Engr. Dickinson S. Mondares, Engr. Michael Angelo I. Espejo, Engr. Rhenz Charles H. Combis, Engr. John Jose T. Canayon, Engr. Ian Joshua A. Junio, Engr. Ovie F. Macatiag, and Engr. Fjay F. Cacapit.

For Batch 1, the board passers were introduced by Engr. Christa Joy A. Arias, UPEESA adviser, while Engr. Julieana A. Aninag, CEA Electrical Engineering faculty member, introduced Batch 2.

During the open forum, students asked questions and sought advice from the board passers about their licensure examination preparations and journeys toward success, giving them an opportunity to learn from the experiences of those who had recently taken the examination.

In her closing message, Engr. Gisela J. Siapno, PhD, an Electrical Engineering faculty member, emphasized that achievements become more meaningful when they are used to inspire and uplift others.

Engr. Siapno reinforced the importance of mutual support within the EE community through a performance of ‘Sandalan’ by 6cyclemind, joined by two student performers, symbolizing the EE family as a source of strength and support.
