REELE passers star UPEESA Testimonials, Recognition Rites

Featuring eight stories of victory, the University of Pangasinan Electrical Engineering Student Association (UPEESA) gathered Electrical Engineering (EE) students to honor April 2026 Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination (REELE) passers during its testimonials and recognition rites today, July 24, at the Audio-Visual Room.

With the theme “Unit-EE: Tribute to Triumphs, Bringing Together the EE Community,” the event was attended by EE students from the second to fourth year, faculty members, and April 2026 REELE passers.

The event commenced with an opening prayer, the singing of the national anthem, and the recital of the UPang Mission, Vision, and PEN Values led by Justin Nioko, UPEESA Officer-in-Charge President.

The program then proceeded with the opening remarks from EE Program Head Engr. Rommel T. Nato, welcoming remarks from Civil Engineering Program Coordinator Engr. Jerica M. Chan, and the introduction of the board passers presided over by UPEESA Co-Adviser Engr. Leizel R. Lopez.

Opening the testimonies, Engr. Noemi A. Aquino shared the acronym “BAGSAK”: B for broad-mindedness, A for asking questions, G for good attitude and good decision-making, S for staying humble while maintaining one’s hunger for education, A for always praying, and K for keeping going.

Engr. Christian Jay G. Millado then shared, “Success is not served only for the smartest students. It also belongs to those who refuse to quit. Kaya lagi lamang tayong mag-move forward at isipin natin na hindi biro ’yong pagod o pawis na ginugugol para mapag-aral tayo ng ating mga parents.”

Thereafter, Engr. Sherwyn G. Ramiscal, Engr. Rizalyn T. Abrigo, Engr. Chan Florence B. Ferrer, Engr. Glen Russel M. Solomon, Engr. Roslyn C. Untalan, and Engr. France Jerson D. Solano also shared their tips and experiences, from studying to conquering the board exam.
Concluding the program, an open forum was conducted following the awarding of certificates to the board passers, instilling hope and clarity among EE students as they look toward the years ahead.
