UPang Helping Hands serves 540 evacuees in Bugallon, Pangasinan

PHINMA University of Pangasinan (UPang) extended its Helping Hands activity to Bugallon, distributing lugaw and eggs to 540 individuals affected by the recent calamity today, September 2, 2026. 


At Bugallon Integrated School, 320 individuals were served food assistance, while 220 individuals from Torres Bugallon Elementary School also benefited. 


PHINMA Foundation, Inc., UPang Center for Student Development and Leadership represented by Adele S. Traspe, Ma. Carmela De Perio, Mary Raquel Rayos, Crisanta Lopez, and Jolina Gamboa, and Supreme Student Council student leaders Aaron John Capuno and Nicole Balundo, organized the said activity.


Caritas Alaminos Pangasinan Foundation, Inc. collaborated with UPang for the Helping Hands initiative.


UPang activated the Helping Hands program for families and communities displaced by the calamity.
